That means our onsite superintendents and foremen actively participate in construction as needed, offering project management solutions with their own carpentry services. We have formed an exceptional group of healthcare builders with over 75 years of collective experience. We offer this experience based on years of successfully delivering services for long-term healthcare clients.

Projects include hospital and medical office improvements, nurse call centers, ambulatory and outpatient care centers, operating rooms, NICU and PICU upgrades, radiology and imaging centers, sterile processing, diagnostic and treatment rooms, medical equipment installations, and patient rooms and amenities.
Our project managers and field personnel have worked in virtually every type of investor-, developer-, or institutionally owned building in the San Francisco Bay Area, providing commercial interior construction for Class-A, high-rise-to-mid-rise, and garden office buildings.
We provide our general contracting services to a wide range of clients, including developers, landlords, technology firms, financial institutions, professional service firms, and retail.
Our decades of experience in life science construction began with one of our longest-standing partners, Abbott Laboratories (formerly Thoratec). Over the years, we have performed everything from simple service work requests to full-floor build-outs, as well as several labs, and we have developed an intimate knowledge of their critical operational process to ensure successful construction projects.

Our success in this space is largely attributed to an understanding of all stakeholder requirements, attention to detail, nimble operations, and knowledge of the complex, integrated systems required for processing and production. General Contracting is Peacock’s specialty. With over 40 years of experience building in the San Francisco Bay Area, our team members are experts at meeting and exceeding the expectations of our clients. We pride ourselves in creating detailed estimates and executing projects from start to finish as our client’s dedicated project partner, regardless of the size of project. We take a hands-on approach in the field and are able to self perform work when needed. Our long history operating in the Bay Area has resulted in our holding strong relationships with local building officials and inspectors, which ensures our projects are executed on-time and on-budget.
Design-Build

Our design build services provide a collaborative approach to each project, with our integrated team working together to ensure accountability and alignment of the entire construction process. From design and development to project construction and completion, our designers and architects collaborate with the build team to deliver an outcome that is on-time and on-budget.
Pre-Construction

The pre-construction process determines the trajectory of a construction project. Our team takes extra care to ensure that we engage with all of our partners early in the project. We prepare budgets and offer value engineering suggestions early in the process, without impacting the design intent. We make sure to anticipate all variables that may arise throughout the project and plan solutions that are customized to the goals and needs of our clients and those that will occupy the finished space.
Value Engineering

Our multi-step value engineering process occurs during the design stage of a project. Our phased methodology focuses on maximizing the project’s function while minimizing cost, which generates the greatest value for our clients. By performing functional analyses that weigh the cost/benefit ratio of a project, our team is able to make suggestions for alternate construction methods, or materials that improve constructability and save money for our clients, without compromising the design intent of the project.
